Humans:   They're like sand in the desert, everywhere you don't want them to be.   Aside from that, they're pretty okay for the most part.   Smart, sometimes, industrious, highly motivated to not be eaten by cannibals or any other predator.   Yes, we're looking at you, Vampires.   

 

Despite their proclivity to not be eaten by other critters, they do at this time have a rather short lifespan compared to other creatures.  Life expectancy is a mere 25 years at birth.    If one survives to be that ripe old age, barring disease, murder or combat, one could expect to live to be about sixty.   FUN!

As for their knowledge of the world, there are generally three classes:

Believers:  Those who either know first hand or are certain that the truth is out there.

​

            Sub Class, Hunters: They've not only seen first hand but have come up against the truth, and often try to kill it.   They carry lots of various types of sharp pointy objects and tend to have a salt fetish.

​

Superstitious:   They have zero proof but will throw salt at anything that looks at them funny.

​

Uninformed:  Completely clueless and better off left that way.
